Safety, Health & Environmental policy:
Objective:
The Safety, Health and Environmental Policy of MLV Electrical is derived from relevant provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act no. 85 of 1993), as amended and other legislation. This policy provides rules, regulations and procedures used on our projects as standard, to eliminate risks and accidents as well as ensuring that our activities do not damage the environment.
Scope:
The policy implemented by MLV Electrical eliminates accidents and injuries at work stations. We ensure legal compliance, hazard identification and risk control. MLV Electrical promotes a health and safety culture among everyone working on its projects. Our unblemished SHE track record is testimony to this.
Implementation:
Our health and safety officer/s design and implement detailed Site Safety Plans, indicating how standards will be met. Plans include preliminary hazard identification and risk analysis. We provide PPE to all personnel on site and all first aid treatment and medical treatment is provided.
